Archdemon Question

I played Dragon Age 2 first and I am currently playing Origins second, I am at the final battle with the dragon in the easy dificulty. The most I've been able to get through the battle is when the horde of darkspawn comes about halfway through the battle
with them. I've read every possible guide on the internet, but I keep having problems. I have roughly now about 20 healing potions and the potions that I made with my rougue, but I don't have too many. The stats of my team are:

Main character Rougue:

24 strength

34 dexteerity

24 willpower

32 cunning

27 constitution

20% Fire, Cold, and Electricity resistance.

Allistair

33 strength

27 dexterity

23 willpower

14 magic

7 cunning

31 constitution

Wynne

20 strength

13 dexterity

29 willpower

35 magic

15 cunning

21 constitution

Oghren

39 strength

14 dexterity

21 willpower

14 magic

16 cunning

26 constitution

I have 459 spring traps. My question is, should I build my party with different stats and start over or since I am so late on the game, what can I do with my current team? Or maybe I s**ck at this game, I don't know.

So many achievements....

there are 4 main endings to get the achievement (I don't have it yet as I've only done 2 playthroughs so far).

***SPOILERS ABOUND***

sacrafice yourself (kill the archdemon), have Alistair kill the archdemon, do the DR with Morrigan and lastly have the secret character* kill the archdemon (*can spoil who it is if need be..)

 

Dragon Age Origins DLC Question.

^ Casual difficulty when fighting the archdemon; that and/or putting everyone of your party on a seperate ballista is my strategy.

 

Use the ballistas on the Archdemon. Don't try to face it in hand to hand until it has only a sliver of health left. That's what I do. And try to keep your team with you as you run to each ballista by selecting the entire party every time you have to switch
to a different ballista.

 

I just finished the game yesterday, what I did was call for reinforcements at the begginning of the fight, I was doing it halfway or more before. I had Wynne heal all the characters if health was less than 75% and taking a lyrium potion if her mana was less
than 75%. Also I made sure if she was surrounded, another character of the party came to help or I did. I used the ballista when the dragon was out of my reach for attack, that basically did the job for me. The ending of my game I chose was sad, because I
delivered the final blow and died afterwards, it almost made me cry. I played this game so long ago, but for some reason was never able to get far, but now I will continue playing other origin stories, but now I will make a more capable party, my rougue was
basically a "jack of all trades ", I guess is better to have a team of specialists.

And now I will begin getting ready for DA: Inquisition on Xbox One, which I will have tomorrow when I pick my sunset overdrive bundle at gamestop.
