    April 25-2026 Xbox has been having issues regarding my privacy and online safety settings


    For months now I have been unable to use discord or any communication outside of Xbox my Xbox is currently bugged and will not let me change any privacy settings despite being 18+ verified for months I have been back and forth with Xbox support and they are actually useless where do I go from here? Yoti also says they can’t help either so my account is permanently banned from communication outside of Xbox because I have verified my age I’m not in any family groups either it’s weird because on other platforms when I try to change these settings it doesn’t save them at all and after I refresh it goes back to the restricted settings I’m unable to use discord and speak to my mates I’m very lonely and neurodivergent I rarely leave the house I live online and this issue still hasn’t been fixed is it normal to wait 6–4 months for a basic glitch to be fixed? I have no active suspensions either I’m very disappointed on how a glitch like this can happen worst thing is I can’t fix it myself because it’s a closed system

    "this feature is blocked per your Xbox Live parental control settings" comes up randomly on Steam Forza Horizon 4. Sometimes I have online features and sometimes I dont.

    Regarding your issue, you will actually need to try checking the date of birth that has been set up on your account first. if you make sure that it is an adult account, please try following the steps on this link in order to fix your issue:

    Manage Xbox online safety and privacy settings | Xbox Support.

    If you find that the account has a minor's date of birth you will need to add back to the Microsoft family again.

    It has been a while since your last reply, have you contacted Mojang about this issue? Also just in case, did you get any blocks to these worlds due to a privacy issue with Realms or Worlds. Sometimes the settings on an Xbox account can block access to playing online, which you can find here: Manage Xbox online safety and privacy settings | Xbox Support.

    There is a section called: Manage settings for Mojang and Minecraft on that same page that can give instructions on how to double check you privacy settings.
