Discus and support apps wont update windows store in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i am unable to use the xbox app amazon prime app among others each needing an update and when going to the microsoft store I get an error for every app...     apps wont update windows store


    i am unable to use the xbox app amazon prime app among others each needing an update and when going to the microsoft store I get an error for every app saying something went wrong on our end this is been going on for a few weeks that I am aware of and checking online there are several options to try and fix like clearing cash or reseting the store but nothing is working i am using windows 11 home thats updated

    Go to the start bar of your computer and enter CMD, click with the right mouse button and click on the option run as administrator, and click on yes. Inside the CMD enter these commands.

    sc config wuauserv start= auto
    sc config bits start= auto
    sc config DcomLaunch start= auto
    net stop wuauserv
    net start wuauserv
    net stop bits
    net start bits
    net start DcomLaunch

    and wait for it to finish, see if the problem is solved.

    The Xbox app is not updated by Windows update. The app is from the Windows (Microsoft) store and is updated there. Please go to the store to see whether there is an update available.

    I would personally try troubleshooting through multiple steps,

    1. Checking for updates on your PC

    2. Checking for updates in the windows store for the Xbox app

    3. Restarting your computer

    4.uninstalling the Xbox app and reinstalling it may work

    (I believe that is your question - that the xbox app specifically wont work)
