APPS won't load and my xbox one X sometimes doesn't reconise my kinect camera

I would advise you to do a factory reset while retaining all the apps, to see if somehow that fixes your issue.

While the console is on, press the home button on the controller.

Select the Settings menu via the gear-shaped icon.

Click through the System link and then go to Console Info.

Select Reset Console.

Click Reset and Keep data

So one thing I have seen is that sometimes my voice won't transmit in either game chat or party chat but I can still hear everyone else.

I solved my issue by removing the cover I have over the kinect cameras. It seems like the xbox one knows I'm signed in and in a party, the controller knows there is a headset plugged in and I hear sound, but if the kinect camera can't see that the controller
is in my hand then voice doesn't transmit.

Happened 3 times now that my voice won't transmit through headset... I get up take cover off cameras, sit back down and boom... Voice is working fine. Don't have to leave party and rejoin or anything.

For me Kinect is great....for Skype, the best camera i've ever seen but that's all. I still have it but not plugged on my Xbox One X. In the drawer below.

If you want the best hands free experience, Xbox One and Kinect are the way to go. If you have an Xbox One S or X you'll also need an adapter to make it compatible with the Kinect. That's the only camera
that will work for Just Dance on the Xbox. Otherwise you can use your smartphone by downloading the Just Dance app.

I have found that if Kinect signs me in, my headset sometimes won't work. If I go to the dashboard and select my character to sign in and select 'Choose this person', my headset begins working right away. It seems like when signing in with Kinect, the
xbox one doesn't always know which controller you are using.

It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, this method always seems to work.
