Apps - Edge and File explorer

I recently copied some series onto my xboxone. At first I could access the episodes via file explorer but a few days ago when I wanted to watch a few more episodes both my file explorer and microsoft edge icons were gone...so I basically have these blank
thumbnails or tabs (idk what they're called) under apps on my xbox. The names of the apps aren't there either, just a sequence of letters, numbers and other symbols.

Instead of file explorer, the name of the app is @{c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_10.0.17763.4088_neutral_neutral_cw...

And instead of Microsoft edge it shows @{Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_44.17763.4088.0_8wekyb3d8bbwe?ms-resources://Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge/Resource/AppName)

Idk much about virusses/malware, I've done some reading and most people concluded that consoles basically don't get viruses. Idk what this is. I've tried a reboot and clearing saved data...idk what to do. I have so many games, I'm absolutely dreading a factory
wipe.

Please help.

Since you have already tried power cycling. I agree and recommend a factory reset choosing to keep your games and apps. This way you won't need to download all your stuff again. There may be a corruption somewhere and this will fix that. Let us know if
this doesn't work.

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with the Xbox One apps. I recommend
trying a power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out and let us know the results.
