apps always pending when trying to download

everytime I try to download apps, the download remains pending forever. even free apps remains pending and cant download

Assassins creed download error

I'm trying to download the game back but it always crashes in seven gigs and gets incomplete, and I don't wanna delete my saves to download again. I've tried to download it for the third time, and it always gives the same error.

My HD has 100g free and when downloading i don't use online apps or play online games.

Can't download while watching a dvd?

I am trying to download a game, and trying to watch a movie to pass the time. This method has always worked before, yet now it says my download is pending even though it is simply a dvd, not an online game or an online streaming service.

The last option didn't work and had a bunch of fails and I can't download any app on Microsoft store it is stuck on pending including gaming services when i try to download.

Hi,

If your download is still showing as pending try to go to the dashboard and then push the middle button on your Xbox 360 controller. Go to Games & Apps, and then Active Downloads. Once you're there, press A on the pending download and then try to hit Download
Now if there's an option for that. This should jump start the download.

Xbox preview app is still pending but got new update today when i turned on xbox started downloading xbox360 game then went to preview app but still pending plz help

Generally, when a WIndows installation or update is finished, it tries to update the native apps and programs/games installed through the Microsoft Store.

It is normal that it takes a while to download, as there are many. Leave the PC on for a few hours and see if the downloads are started and completed, as the download is in sequential order, so some apps or games are pending. And for that reason you can't cancel them.

When accessing the Library in the Microsoft Store, are there no other downloads in progress or pending?
