Applying Xbox Gold Giftcards to Multiple Accounts

My brother and I are trying to apply an Xbox gold giftcard to our xbox. We have seperate accounts and I know there is "Xbox Home" so we can apply it to both accounts, but that's only if you buy it directly, not with a giftcard. Does anyone know how to apply
a giftcard so it goes to multiple accounts?

It works the same way with prepaid gold cards as it does if you purchase gold directly from Xbox. Just add the card to whatever account has the console set as the Home Xbox and you both will share the gold.
