    You do know, that Microsoft own a 5% share in Apple Inc..??? That's why, iPods/Pads are compatible with Smartglass / Xbox consoles & one of the reasons why, Apple Macs are now Universal to run OSX & Windows OS etc..

    Mac woes

    I have never owned an iMac. When I tell this to people, they usually assume I'm one of those anti-Apple geeks, who hates every product designed by the late Steve Jobs. Well, I'm not. I have been using Windows on my computers because it is cheaper and does all the jobs I need to do.

    As far as gaming is concerned, I think there are quite a few games that run on a Mac or Macbook. They are not nearly as many as there are available for PC, but the major ones, such as Starcraft 2, are available on the OS X platform as well.

    Thanks for updating us with your reply. Since the solution that was provided to you by XBF Leonzo was unsuccessful, it may be due to your use of Windows 10 on an Apple MacBook Pro. When you use the VM for Windows on your MacBook, the Windows OS is unable
    to get the necessary updates for drivers, etc. in real time. This may simply be due to the OS not being directly on a PC, but a Mac/Apple device. Sadly, as you're using an emulated MS operating system on an Apple product, the device (controller) that is compatible
    with MS OS just isn't recognized by Apple iOS.

    Well that's a given seeing as mac apps are made for Mac OS AND iOS

    One major problem with your theory

    You need ms xbox game services for windows 10 to run the app

    Apple doesnt allow anything to overwrite their core services

    And fyi xbox games uses direct x which is not compatible with mac os

    No windows will install on a m1 you will have to get an older mac that is Intel compatible

    Are you forgetting?

    To use xbox app you need mswindows game services which noone but Apple can write

    Steam relies on hardware drivers in the case of Mac os ir is available but xbox games rely on direct x11 which mac os does not use
