Appearing offline but im online

Hey,

Yesterday my friend and I tried to play together but we both were appearing offline to each other, I understood that before there was a xbox wide error. So we left it and tried again today but it still isnt working. I am stuck as Offline.

I've tried everything I've seen online from changing privacy to re-signing in to wifi but no luck.

Is anyone else having the same or were having the same and know how to fix it?

Hi there,

to be sure, can you check if you are set to Online on your Profile via Guide->move left to your profile-> at the bottom there is an option to select Online, Offline or Do not disturb.

If that fails also try

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Redownload your profile

In my region this error seem solved, but i see a lot of players mainly from Australia having this problem rn.

Here in Brazil, I'm having the same problem. I've tried some methods like Hard Reset and the one to download my profile again but I did not succeed.

Remove your account from Xbox and re-added it. Gave this suggestion to couple people last week and it worked for them. Hope it does for you bud!

Try a Power Cycle for the console. It appears to be a common issue. Sometimes a Power cycle has helped.
