Apparently the xbox app doesn't want to stream

The Xbox app worked perfectly fine for me. I was able to stream and connect to my xbox with no problem. One time I streamed my xbox to my computer, and then I had to stop streaming for a little bit. When I tried to go back to streaming, the app said it could
not connect to my xbox and has yet to connect to it since. It is on the same network, and it won't recognize its IP Address unless I am putting in the wrong address. What have I done wrong?

I don't know what error your seeing but it doesn't work anymore anyway. In the last update Microsoft just decided to remove the "DLNA PlayTo" feature from the groove music app on xbox. So you can't stream to xbox using bubbleupnp anymore and apparently there's
no time-frame for fixing it.

So I have a little dilemma, which is puzzling me to a great degree. Before when i would connect my computer to my xbox through the app, it would connect with no problem. A couple days ago, I was streaming my xbox and I had to stop streaming for a second,
but then when I tried to go back to streaming, it couldn't start it again. Then the app lost its connection to my xbox and I have not been able to connect it since. It is all on the same network and it will not even recognize my xbox even when I type in the
IP address of it. What have I done wrong?

To properly isolate your concern, may we ask if you are still able to connect to Xbox Live on the Xbox App when you are not streaming your games?



We also recommend that you perform a power cycle on the Xbox and the router to refresh your network connection. You can follow the steps below to do a power cycle:



1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Restart your Xbox One console:

a. Scroll left from Home to open the guide.

b. Select Settings.

c. Select Restart console.

d. Select Yes to confirm.

3. Wait five minutes.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

5. Plug in the rest of your hardware.

Once your connection is stable, you can follow the steps on this

I am pretty sure I am still connected to Xbox live since I can get community updates on the app, unless I just need to be connected to internet
