App Update Issue: Installing and Uninstalling Loop

Kindly try to do these steps and check if it will fix the issue.

Let's try to enable the QoS tagging on this console.

Please go to Settings and select General > Network settings > Advanced settings > QoS tagging settings

Enable both the DSCP and WMM tagging

Reboot the console

Then press and hold the Power button on the front of your Xbox until the console turns off.

Unplug everything from the back of your Xbox.

Wait 3 minutes, and then plug the power cord and HDMI back in.

Then, please check if that fixes the issue.

If that still doesn't fix the issue, try to reset the console this way.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to remember the email and password for the account before taking these steps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

Select "Reset and keep my games & apps

Then check if that works. Thank you!

I have the same issue. The MCC app got stuck in a wierd "has Update" but wont update loop. Xbox app can't launch the game. So I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it. The uninstall didn't free up the disk space, the reinstall wouldn't complete, just says
installing. I tried in MS Store app, the install doesn't even start downloading before it errors out with a "0x803FB107" error. Tried a number of things, not getting closer to a solution. The Outer Worlds wont even launch either...

Hi I have the same issue, I tried your suggestion ii.e. download the xbox one app and then search for Mortal Kombat 11, however I only get the option to "Launch" not "Download", help please, my installation shows as 37% complete, when I launch the game, it comes up with "needs update" so I am stuck in a loop... HELP!

Prior to the above I did the usual, hard restart etc, I then uninstalled the game, restarted the xbox, inserted the disc and it started the install however as mentioned above its now in a loop!

I'm having the same issue and I also have the new dashboard update. Uninstalling and installing the Xbox Fitness App again didn't solve the issue. :/

I've run windows update, i've checked both windows store and xbox app for updates, i've tried uninstalling, repairing and resetting the app. Nothing has worked. If i uninstall and reinstall - my installed games will load in the menu, but when i check for install location nothing is there and it won't let me select it. If i go out of the app and go back in it then goes back to the previous issue.
