    Hi,

    My son is unable to use his microphone through his controller due to the controller having a connection issue with his headset. He signs into his xbox account through the Xbox app on his iphone and can chat to his friends this way.

    After he opens the app, He used to press 3 people symbol, then presses start party......and then he was able to chat. I had to change my password on my microsoft account the other day but ever since I did that, it says that is he disconnected. Has anyone
    experienced this and found a solution?

    Hi there, have you tried to uninstall the app and then reboot the phone and then retry to re install the app and re authenticate your information via the app.

    Original Post     to better cater to the issue at hand. First things first, we suggest uninstalling the app, power cycling the iPhone and reinstalling the app. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!

    Hey tash_599, hopefully we find the solution for you. First off is your son using a bluetooth headset of a wired plugged headset? Also is he able to connect into the party and not hear anyone or is he having a problem getting into the party itself? I would
    double check his party chat volume under the “audio” option in “settings” that is one thing that would keep him from hearing anyone.
