App changed

Followed all the steps with no change.

/scannow mentioned corrupted files and that it fixed them but no change in the Xbox app or the Microsoft Store app.

Are you still getting the same error code: 0x80070005 when trying to change the drive? If yes, go to this pc then click the drive you are trying to change your save location to. Find a file named WindowsApps. Right-click and look for change name and change it to WindowsApps.old then try to change again your default save location.

If it persists, repair/reset the Xbox app and MS store app. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find the App then select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Reset.

After that press WIN+R (Windows logo key + R) , Enter "services.msc", find "Game Services", stop the service and then start it back again.

I have the same problem today. Zune gave me assign-in error, and then seemed to be fine and is working now. This Music App is just horrid junk. this is the second time that it has been rendered useless with no user made changes whatsoever. My guess is, someone
changed the DRM protocols serverside, and just couldn't be bothered to think to change the app to match.

Let me guess, your Store App, Games App, and all desktop apps all work flawlessly still, and you haven't installed anything or changed anything lately either?

If you have already been removed from the family you need to log out of the Xbox app and the Microsoft store app, that should be enough but sometimes it isn't so you can add changing your privacy settings here

In the third column change the programming configuration, it is probably already in standard, change it to familiar, save the change and then to standard again and save again

After this, log back in the Microsoft store app and Xbox app

system settings > storage > change where new content is saved

this is the option, when you change this it only changes it for apps and games from the store not normal computer programs. windows will stay where it is, this just changes the location for app and games installed off
the store.
