    Aparrently rewards points don't actually exist


    I preordered dead rising 4 over two weeks ago through the Microsoft store, still haven't received my 15,000 rewards points, I'm seriously about to cancel the preorder. I was told it takes 7 to 10 days. What gives?

    Actually when I bought my xbox in 2002 the rewards programme didnt exist. Neither did xbox live

    Not exactly. If you keep the gems until the program switches to the Microsoft Rewards program, each gem will be transferred over as 1 Microsoft Rewards point (So you would get 1880 Microsoft Rewards points). Gems and Microsoft Rewards points don't actually
    have a monetary value so it wouldn't be the same as $18.80.

    Credits for that offer are given about 10-15 business days after the game ships.

    Actually support had responded to your previous post as well. Since you preordered digitally and not a physical disc, your preorder is not eligible for that offer.

    Actually support had responded to your previous post as well. Since you preordered digitally and not a physical disc, your preorder is not eligible for that offer.

    As Saul Marau speculated, if you didn't buy the games or consoles (or other item) during the actual promotional period, you won't get the Rewards points. This includes buying them before the promotion existed.
