AOE3 100 Bad CD Key

I just bought Age of EMpires 3 on Steam and trying to create an account to play online but it gives error 100 bad cd key.

I have contacted Steam and Microsoft, neither can help. How do I fix this?

Age of Empires for xbox 360

Everything about AOE3 was an improvement from AOE3. Whats not to love? Why dont you like AOE3 but you love AOE2?

try Another browser another Device So that usually help (to create steam Acc)

and for 100 bad cd key. you have contact steam for that and ask for whats that mean

also you can contact Xbox official support at Contact Us | Xbox Support

Sorry to hear it. Apparently the CD Keys from physical copies no longer work. https://forums.ageofempires.com/t/help-bad-cd-key-error-100/27365/12

I would recommend contacting the seller for a refund and look into getting the game from Steam as is suggested in that thread. Otherwise you could try contacting their support. Their email is listed in the link as well.
