    Anyway to get a inactive players gamertag?


    My ign rn is li lucizd but it’s changed from GibranGamer8294 to notgibran01 and i wanted to try to see if i could get the gamer tag gibran or gibrn. I looked at the accounts and they seem to be inactive i would be happy to pay full price for these gamertag/s if possible thank you!

    Unfortunately no, if the GT appears on the Xbox network that means that the email is still in use even if it appears as inactive. There is no releasing for GTs

    I believe after a set amount of inactivity old Gamertags are deleted and made available to new players and people requesting to change their Gamertag.

    Inactive spaced gamertags should be removed and released. They are inactive, 100 percent inactive place holding gamertags.

    I don't believe there is, if they deactivated all the unused accounts and released their names for use players would abuse that.
