Anyone on Uverse?

I have fiber 24mb down and 4mb up and seem to always be a frame behind everyone else.

I'll shoot and they turn around and shoot me and I die with one bullet. In the replay it shows they shot me 5 times.

In the advance network connection screen on the X1 it shows:

Download 24mb

Upload 4mb

Latency 96

No packet loss

Well my mum's been calling them. Got some useless freshie from India on the phone.



Anyway he says my modem router is not compatible with there network. Then he said there was something wrong with the modem router, i don't understand how since it's always worked fine when i was at home before.



Then the guy says go on speedtest.net and test your speed 3 times a day. Well i've spent like over month testing the speed whenever i've had any lagg.



It's wierd how my modem router is now broken but 2 weeks there was apparently something wrong with the network in my area.



They just chat a bunch of useless bullshit. And then they try and sell some filter to apparently fix the problem.

Let us know what they say, ISPs are often reluctant to admit if there is a problem at their end (something I'm going through now with BE).

I'd check your line for noise first. Do you get these problems when it rains or some other change in the weather?

 

I have a better up and down than you, but my latency/ping is about the same. Sometimes its good and sometimes its bad. Ping/latency makes a huge difference. That looks like your problem.

 

my speed and latency never varies much.

However, when I connect to TitalFall the servers show a connection ping of 52.

 

Im not totally sure about all this info, but latency and ping will make a huge difference in gameplay. I usually have a 30 or down and around an 8 or so up, but my ping is always high IMHO at around 70s to 90s. I dunno why or how the ping is like that nor
do I no how to change it, but I do think lower would be way better.
