Anyone now whats new in the xbox beta app?

Hi Tommy, Thanks for the question. Gamerscore leaderboards and games is a good area to test but the developers are always interested in hearing feedback on any of the app features.

The xbox app you can now download, is the one linked with the new gamepass for PC still in beta version. The old xbox app has now a different name and should be already installed in a W10 system.

Look for an app named "companion console xbox" which is the new bname of the old app you're looking for.

that happened to me before, and what i did was to redownload the xbox app, in the future this will be improve because the app is in beta phase for now

Try this to unlock the hard drives for XBOX:

Goto system- then storage- and under the storage tab find "change where new content is saved" then select "new apps will save to" and select your preferred storage drive.

Then uninstall your xbox (beta) app, and reinstall it, now try if the Xbox (Beta )will give you the option to select what drive you want to install it on.

It has nothing to do with my pc, it is totally the new xbox beta app. It doesn't log you in, therefore you cant play. Anyway, i figured it out, i uninstalled the original xbox app and then reinstalled it. Sign in with "old" app, now beta version works.
