Anyone having strange, bad symptoms on PC while using Xbox One controller via Bluetooth?

I know this sounds crazy, but I've had these problems with an Xbox One wireless controller on two different PC systems:

- Game runs for a while (2-20 minutes) without issue. Controller functions just fine.

- Everything locks up. Windows stops recognizing mouse input (wired or wireless!); commands to close program don't respond; pulse beeps play on connected headphones.

- All you can do is restart the machine.

Usually, I'm using the controller to play Borderlands, Overwatch, or other games on Steam/Blizzard/etc.. Always, I'm using it wirelessly via bluetooth through a USB dongle to PC running Windows 10. And always, only while this device is connected (8-9 times
now), these symptoms recur. Quit using the controller and the symptoms cease.

I've tested this over the course of more than a month. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, getting the controller connected and working is not the problem. Using the controller apparently causes the problem.

Have you tried a different USB port for your dongle? How many devices do you have paired to the dongle?

And, more Importantly, what Bluetooth dongle is it?

Ok. So Fix bluetooth problems usually works for a while. But when I connect PC xbox controller via USB (older one, doesn't have bluetooth), the one which connected via Bluetooth keeps turning off every minute. And doesn't turn on itself, as it usually happens.

Hi I'm using the new bluetooth model Xbox One controller but it won't connect via Bluetooth to my PC. It was working for me for quite a while and one day it lost sync, when I tried to resync it showed up as just "Input" instead of Xbox One controller
like it had before. It's done the same thing with my other Xbox One bluetooth controller
