    Anyone having issue with surround sound with the latest updates?


    Surround stopped working again like a few months ago. Like they reverted a fix for it or something. Wondering if it's just me or something else. Anyone else here having issues with surround sound?

    2.0 works fine.

    Latest update ruined surround sound!

    I'm having the same issue. No surround sound options work ever. I am stuck with just stereo, I hope they fix this soon. I am holding off on buying any more games until it is fixed and even thinking about selling the Xbox One already and I like Xbox.

    It's definitely an issue with the latest update. (I have the same problem you're describing while watching TV). It appears whatever they did broke surround sound, so I hope they're working on a fix. There are a few posts about it, so I hope that will get
    their attention.

    That's not good, I'm now so used to having the sound on my 360 coming through my sound bar in surround through the optical lead. Surely they can fix this with an update can't they ? Otherwise that's a bit of an over site. Latest technology you sure...

    Cracking sounds when HDMI is set to Bitstream OUT

    Regarding the HDMI Bitrate, since the update I have tried switching from 5.1 to Bitrate which has drastically improved the surround sound, but after about 5 minutes the audio completely cuts out. I have tried this several times and while uncompressed stereo,
    5.1, and 7.1 always work, Bitrate with Dolby Surround sound much better. Has anyone else had this issue?

    Headset advice for xbox one

    Microsoft has to update a patch so surround sound eill work on headsets. They need to fast. Ps4 has no issue.. If u have the cash astro is the only 1 i no of that will get full 7.1 surround because of the little surround sound converter brick that comes
    with it.
