Anyone have problems with games backing out to dashboard?

I have a problem with Dead rising 3, when i try to run the game on co op mode it crashes to the xbox one homepage... my nat is open and this problem happens exactly when the connection with another person tries to be successful....

how can i fix this?

[/quote] We shouldn't need to do this, but "quit" any apps that might be open and/or do a reboot of the console. Another fix I expect we'll see with updates.

 

Battlefield 4 will randomly boot me to the dashboard.....luckily it only happens between matches.

 

It's happened a few times to me but not enough to be concerned, Haven't re-booted under these circumstances. My console has been quite sturdy given that it's a day 1. It's the middle of summer and stinking hot in the tropics, machine runs for 5 hours in
the heat and not one issue

This is my main problem with the Xbox One at the moment, dashboarding, definitely seems ( for me ) worse on Battlefield 4. Like others have said, doing a hard reboot can sort it out, just repeat process if it starts happening again.

Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update.

 

@Lofty. BF4 is terrible for it, it was doing it to me after every 2nd or 3rd game I had. Infact it's the only game it's happened to me on.

On BF4 it mainly happened to me when it was loading the next map, on a few occasions it happened when I started the game. When I last played, it started happening while I was "in-game" which was a royal pain in the backside.

I've traded my copy now, just got cheesed off with the issues, I play games for fun and I know all games can have problems but with BF4 I just wasn't looking forward to playing it no-more, it was more a case of loading it up and wondering what the next issue
would be.

As I just said in another thread, one lesson I've learnt from this is I will NEVER buy another EA/DICE game on release again, I'll always wait to such a time I hear it's running well.

 

Problem fixed... I did a unistall and run the installation again... now my Dead rising 3 is working good on co op and no more dashboarding atm.

 

TBH i think this is something to do with the party system, has been happening to myself and 2 mates all week, it seems when someone joins/leaves the party we are all returned to the home screen. The last time was during a match on Fifa

 

Hard reset doesn't fix it for me. Games and apps crashing to dashboard consistently.
