Why are you connecting the Xbox to the PC?

Yes this is possible, I stream like this all the time.

There are two ways to do this first is if you bought an external capture device.

Second way is how I do it, you can use the Xbox Companion app on your PC to remote play your Xbox, then use a streaming app on your pc to stream the Xbox Companion app. Just note that you may want to join party chats via the Xbox companion app instead of
on your console and also continue to play via controller on your Xbox to not experience delays playing via the pc app.

This would be the 3rd time I have said I have checked my PC notification settings. Hell I built my own i9 PC and tournie website and am pretty sure I checked the settings today.

Let me re-iterate that on Xbox you see party invites and the Xbox companion app should do the same.

Not via game bar, not via PC but by the app I'm using which is the main app anyway. Why would I want a mini game bar version I may have to refer to, if talking in companion? Who decides these things? Do they ever stream on PC using an Xbox console and Companion?
Theres enough to monitor already.

The party system needs work for sure, if I join a party on the console, it wont show on my android app (on my phone), nor does it recognize I'm even in a party, and vise versa if I join a party via my android app.

Can you join a party via the companion app and see if that does anything?

if you don't have a console then how are you going to connect a console to the companion app in the first place. gold is only required on the console, if you connect via companion app to a console and stream to a pc that console will need gold to play online.
