Anyone else overbuying with all these holiday sales? And what did you buy?

Between the console and Steam sales, I've bought way too many games. Games that I will never have time to play. I can't stop! Help!

Anyone else loving all the Holiday content lately??

Now I'm logging in to Plants vs Zombies everyday to see what kind of goodies I can get for my character and the new update for Killer Instinct is great with the candy cane knives and reindeer hats. I wish this kind of stuff would happen more often. I remmeber
they did some of this stuff with the early days of the 360 with Holiday themes and with Gears of War Sanata hats....nothing more humiliating than getting your head stomped into a curb with a fat guy wearing a santa hat

 

So, What Did You Get?

I brought the First episode of The Walking Dead Season 2. It was only .99¢ and I had just got me Xbox Rewards points not to long ago so it was essentially free for me. I won't be playing it till all 5 episodes release. Same with The Wolf Among Us. I doubt
I'll purchase anything else as I have all 360 games I want.

 

nope, happy to say i only bought one game, south park: the stick of truth, from the psn sale. i was hoping to get more but anything that went on sale that i wanted, i already picked up in another sale or through ps+. aside from one or two games, i'm pretty
much done buying anything for last gen systems...and i'm sure we'll see borderlands: the pre-sequel on xbone and ps4, not sure about assassins creed: the good one nobody bought.

 

I bought 3 games on my X1 so far. And depending on how much money I get for Christmas I may buy one on my PS4.

 

playstation has a new flash sale right now with ac: rogue at an okay price...lets see what tomorrow brings and if should pull the trigger on a couple others or hold out a little longer...i've heard rumors of an america collection similar to the ezio trilogy
with 3, black flag, and rogue in one disc so i'm not too keen on getting rogue digitally if i'm just gonna get it again on disc...

 

I bought the State of Decay DLC at discount, as well as Metro 2033 (my fav FPS next to BioShock).

I'm hoping they release a bargain for Call of Duty Classic, as I've just ordered 2 & 3 from Amazon.

But now I need to chill out from buying and start to enjoy what I have. Only had the 360 for around 3-4 weeks and already have around 20-30 games. You know its time to stop shopping when you can't even remember how much you bought.

 

I've only bought Slender because I've seen it on sale so many times at the same price it finally got me.

It's not over yet so will most likely be getting some more, thinking of the walking dead on the Xbox One.

 

I bought a game I wasn't planning on buying. Maybe they will finally see the benefits of dropping prices or offering 'steam' sales. If they keep games over-priced people are much more likely to go on ebay or rent.

For example the last time I checked, Call of Duty MW2 was still listed at $30.

Who would pay $30 for an un-populated multiplayer game that isn't governed? Hackers and exploiters were running rampant the last few times I tried that game. Oh and not to mention a few newer call of duties have been released:

Black Ops

Modern Warfare 3

Black Ops 2

Ghosts

Advanced Warfare

Bring on the sales!

 

I have some 15-ish games on my backlog. It doesn't help that I keep buying new stuff - latest ones I bought were Storm Revolution and Persona 3.

Make that 17. Someone take my wallet away from me!
