Anyone else of this same problem with accounts?

I had the same problem with my old controller and to fix I just plugged it in to the console and then unplugged it when it was connected, but you would have to do it every time it doesn't want to connect to the console.

Solution for anyone else having the same problem: Go on the microsoft store on a pc or mac and use the money in your account from there. It worked for me.
