Anyone else not able to enable audio in the Xbox BETA app? Any fixes for this?

Sorry but no one is able to assist with this issue on the public forums, I believe people have already reported this issue in the beta forums so they'll need to be patient as Microsoft works on a fix, there's nothing else that you or anyone else would be able
to do at this point in time.

indicate that all audio can go in the correct direction and you're just experiencing a bug.

Other than trying the various audio format options (Stereo, Uncompressed 5.1/7.1, DTS Digital Surround), the only other setting I can think of is the beta surround option under Settings, TV & OneGuide, Troubleshooting, Surround sound (Beta). Might as well give
enabling that a try if you haven't already, or disabling it if you had it enabled.

Found a fix for this - use xbox app on phone - log in - go to store - search for bf beta - 'purchase' the open beta there - worked fine. Nothing else worked for me but this.

So on the xbox app I am able to create party chats but enable to speak or hear anyone. My microphone and speakers work fine on every other app except this one. When I make a party it says "We can't find your microphone". There is no option to choose my playback
and recording device (for some reason it's not a feature in the app). Anyone know a fix?

Welp...

So, I was playing around with my settings and seemed to have fixed my issue. I feel pretty silly but thought I would share the remedy to my issue:

• In Xbox (beta) app go to "Profile and Settings" in upper right corner
• Go to "Settings" -> "General"
• Scroll down to "Offline Permissions" and enable the offline permissions. You can enable 3 computers a year.
• *Poof*

Hope my stupidity helps someone else, somewhere!
