anyone else having problems installing alice madness returns on their PC?

Please answer the following questions :

Is the game installed on C: drive or D: drive?
Are you on Windows 10 or 11?
If you try installing another game, are you able to do it properly?
And which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this issue?

I was having this issue installing ALICE MADNESS RETURNS on windows 11, where every time it would try to install, it would get stuck around 33% or 34% and stay stuck finalizing or wrapping things, or not installing at all on xbox app, on EA Play or Xbox Gamepass.

If you experienced this issue with windows 10 and windows 11.

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ALL MICROSOFT DIRECT X DRIVERS, RUNTIMES AND FRAMEWORKS BELOW REQUIRED FOR THE GAME
Microsoft Direct X Runtime Web installer. - Install https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) - Extract to a folder & then run the direct x setup to Installed them. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 .

.NET Framework 3.5 SP1. - Install https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22.

Visual C++ install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2008 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
NOTE: Not sure if Visual c++ 2008 (no longer supported) version is needed for game, but i installed anyway.
Make sure all above are installed.
Once installed. Select Alice Madness Returns in the EA App, Steam or Xbox, Etc, and retry to install.
It's how i got my Alice Madness Returns to install on Xbox Gamepass.

I have been playing Alice Madness Returns everyday until I complete it I will come back to see what games that I will have to play next right after Alice Madness Returns

Alice: Madness Returns is not available for download in the marketplace. If you're referring to the original Alice then it is available as a game add-on to Madness Returns which is why it doesn't show up as a separate game. You need Madness Returns in order
to play it.

That's an add-on for another game. It requires the game Alice: Madness Returns in order to be able to play it.
