Anyone else having issues with the adverts on the Sky TV app

Gold adverts are much like TV adverts. for example ---- You may be a member of the Sky network, yet adds still exist to have you join the Sky network..... If you are a member, no need to join again. A price needs to be paid for unlimited access.....

Sky Go has replaced the Sky Mobile TV service as well as Sky Player. Once the app is available you will be able to download this from the iTunes App Store and view content on your iPhone as one of your registered devices for the service.



We hope to have more information regarding the availability of the Sky Go app soon and will post an update on the forum when we have this.



Sky Go is free for Sky TV customers and you will be able to access content in line with your subscription from the selection of channels that are available on the service.



The difference between Sky Player and Sky Go is that it's now free for all Sky TV customers where Sky Player required you to have Multiroom or Sky Broadband
and you can watch live tv on up to 2 registered devices at the same time where as Sky Player only allowed this on one registered device.

Still happening.

I can't have the TV app on in the background anymore (the connected PC needs to save power/screen). More convenient to just 'quit' the TV app when done...

Anyone else having this issue?

It would be better to have TV delivered directly through Xbox Live or M to provide TV apps for countries rather than hooking something else up. Doesn't Australia already have a TV app think it's ABC something. NZ and UK have freeview which is free compared
with Sky which charges a subscription fee. But I practically watch no national TV because most of my free time I spend on Xbox. During a Sunday morning, our households Sky decoder broke down and Sky sent out a technician to replace the decoder free of charge
that same day on a Sunday and it was within 3 hours of reporting the fault.

Going by the descriptions Sky, Love Film and Muzu will be 'PPV' apps. I doubt 4oD will and YouTube certainly won't (it probably will however be filled with sodding adverts). As for the others? No idea.
