Anyone else having issues losing progress in No Man's Sky on PC playing through Xbox Ultimate?

• By using a save point in game (crafted item)does it show that the save time is updated?
  
• When opening No Man's Sky did you got the "Syncing" on screen before the game launches?
  
• Is your game updated to the newest version?

Im having the same problem. Error code 0x80004005, when i search it doesnt mention PC solutions whatsoever. It's happening with no mans sky, all my other games work, nobody else seems to have any issue with it currently.

Thanks for reaching out to the Xbox forums! “No Man’s Sky” is currently on Game Pass. If you have been playing it through Game Pass on your Xbox, your progress should be automatically saved if you decide to play on your PC. I just tested this by playing the game on my computer through Game Pass and then switching to my Xbox and it worked.

If you purchased the game on your computer through Steam, however, you will not be able to transfer your save data from the Xbox to the PC.
