Anyone else having Disc drive/BLUERAY PLAYER glitching problems?

so ever since about two months ago I did a system update and all of a sudden my xbox one first off has problems playing brand new discs. you have to re-insert them in the disc drive like 4 to 5 times for it to finally recognize the disc. also ONLY during
blueray movies, the movies glitch and get boxy and freeze. it varies from blueray disc. but most just start glitching at the beginning and don't stop until the end...AHHHHHH!!! I didn't pay all this money for something that's going to continue to have problems
that im going to have to just deal with!!! HELP anyone!! please.. this is really killing my want to ever buy an xbox ever again..

Dead Rising 3 boots me to Dashboard

I was having this issue yesterday afternoon, however after the third time attempting to start, it did. Does anyone elses DR3 seem to run loud? Like the disc spin? When I play a BluRay, it's super quiet, but DR3 seems to be quite loud.

Bluray not working since latest update!!

anyone having issues with Bluray player since today's update?

Can see disc menu but won't play! Tried multiple discs and same issue.

Uninstalled and reinstalled app

Suggestions?

Please head to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray then uncheck Enable BD Live and click on Clear Persistent Storage 3 times. Then hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

If this does not fix the issue you will need to send it in for a repair.

I would send the unit back to the store for replacement, blueray drives have 2 laser lenses one for blueray and one red laser for cd/dvd discs, could be the blueray one is out of alignment or another issue, also blueray discs are a smidging thicker than
dvd discs. Definately send it for repair.

I haven't heard anyone else having disc drive problems with their Xbox One's since Mid-2014, so yes Microsoft fixed these disc drive problems.

I do not have another Xbox in my household but however, I suppose it could be my drive since I have put DVD's into my Xbox and it said ''Make sure your disc is blueray'' despite it being blueray. The discs worked perfectly fine on DVD players though and I can install/buy games through the xbox store perfectly fine. I guess i'll just have to start buying my games digitally
