Anyone else have issues with the Elite Series 2 LB/RB buttons not responding with the console?

I've already dealt with AND deal with my controller disconnecting from the Xbox Series X whether it's connected to the console by USB cable or not. It REQUIRES being hooked up to disconnect LESS but isn't 100% reliable anymore. But NOW, my LB doesn't work 100% of the time and it gets me killed during battles because I stand there doing nothing like an idiot pressing my LB over and over frustrated I didn't get my kill or block a hit depending on the game I'm playing. According to the registered status of my controller on the Xbox website, my 1 year manufacturer's warranty expired 12/31/2023 and I didn't even realize contacting customer service about a replacement controller was an OPTION but my goodness... this really expensive controller has become dysfunctional so I'm hoping there's either a homebound remedy to fix this, or Microsoft can offer some grace and help.

Have you tried to check the controller test on the Xbox Accessories App?

Press the Xbox Guide Button > Settings > Devices & Connections > Controllers & Headsets > Enter Test Mode (Click on the Conical/Lab Flask Icon beside the three dots ...).

On the same app, if your controller needs an update it will prompt you to do so.

You can also reset your controller pairing.

To unpair it, press and hold the pair button on top of the controller for a few seconds until it vibrates twice.

Then, pair it again.

Turn on your controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button.

Press and release the Pair button on the Xbox.

Within 20 seconds, press and hold the controller’s Pair button a circular button on top of the controller as you hold it in your hands) until the controller's Xbox button flashes a few times.

That means it's searching for a console.

The Xbox button stays lit once it's connected.

Last month i bought a normal xbox one controller and the RB button suddenly started jumping 2 places everytime i clicked it and it wasnt useable so i went out and bought an elite series 2 controller and the exact same thing has happened with this
after a week of using it so if you dont get what i mean say im on the home screen tab and i click the RB button it would jump to the Mixer tab instead of going 1 place to the game pass tab anyone know why this happens

Same, after using my elite series 2 since it came out on Day 1, my RB doesn’t respond. When i click it with a slight touch on my LB, it responds, but when I do the same press, it doesn’t respond. This started happening 2 days ago out of nowhere. Any fixes?

I would say yes. A lot of elite controllers (series 1 and 2) have several manifacturing problems, the most common are RB/LB malfunctioning and sticks.

Yes this is same issue for me, Elite Gamepad have two big physical problem. Rubber grip fall and LB or RB button crack.
