    Anyone else had issues with Auto HDR? Happened for the first time.


    I only played Plants vs. Zombies with the Auto HDR feature on. It worked for at least 10 hours of gameplay, but today (and i think this is the first time im playing the game since the latest Xbox software update), when i opened up the game, it turned off my TV. When i turned back on, the HDMI1 port im using for the Xbox was black and nothing happened. Tried to hard reset the console, but the problem remained the same. I tried HDMI2, and instantly worked. I guessed my HDMI1 port suddenly died but when i switched back to HDMI1, AND turned off DEEP COLOR GAMUT (this is the feature in LG TV's which lets you turn on HDR), and turned back on, it worked again. Tried Mortal Kombat 11 with normal HDR and it works. I tuned off Auto HDR in the end.

    Anyone experienced anything like this?

    maybe because its live all the time/ no pause and they wouldnt want you to die in the DZ because you are occupied with something else?

    I would think it was just a quick bug you had. I would try again while in the dark zone see if it still don't let

    For sure had to be a bug in the game or the dashboard wasn't registering correctly so it probably sent you back to the game, which makes sense, I've had that happen a couple times playing The Division.

    Xbox One S - 4K issues

    For anyone else that has this problem I solved mine by switching the TV off at the wall and then switching it back on. Auto delect now works and it detects 4K and HDR.
