Anyone else get crazy slow update?? One gig. Been over two hours. I get 500 mbps

Wow well I just purchased another ps3 about two hours ago so I guess im heading on over too there to play with my son. Also got bops2 for 15 bucks used. My son has a white 500 gig and now I have a 120 gig.

Whatever level of Internet you pay for is not guaranteed from any third-party provider, or even your own Internet service provider if you read your agreement. Gigabit connections are designed for multi heavy user families, not so that you can shove a gigabit down a pipe which very few companies are willing to provide you.You are pinging a server, you’re not showing when you can actually get from them. Netflix is not gonna send anyone a 500 Mbps video signal, that’s simply what their server is paying you back at. Xbox servers are typically capped at around 250 Mbps. As Netflix is top and streams are about 25 Mbps for higher grade 4K, you’re not getting 500 from them either

250mbps will download a 100GB game in an hour, it’s hardly slow

Just did a bit of messing about today as it errored over night and still had a few gig to download. So it was still struggling to get to 1mb/s download speed when i restarted it and thought i wonder if going through vpn would help. Connected the vpn and
instantly jumped up to 30+mb/s and stable. So that was good and i now know to vpn when downloading from Microsoft store/Xbox(BETA). Hope this helps anyone else with same issue. Wonder if it is to do with Virgin Media connection to MS servers? Dont get this
issues with Steam or other clients when downloading off the vpn if anything it slows it down on the vpn.

This. I'm also using Virgin Media, it's mostly stable 400+ mbps on Steam,Battle.net or Origin but on Xbox Beta it was only between 20 to 30 mbps.

I used a UK VPN and download speeds still seems a bit unstable but more than 300 mbps. Thank you!

This challenge is ruining my enjoyment of the game... played for roughly three hours over the last two days, mostly Attrition... scored tons of assists, but only two Dooms... it's simply a crap shoot to Doom a Titan with this thing... the trouble with the
class described above is that it's an advanced class... many things earned through experience... when only using the Railgun, it's slow, slow slow to get that experience and those unlocks... many times I have been fighting with a Titan only to have the kill
taken by someone else... frustrating... at this rate I will have to spend roughly 30 more hours being poo'd on by other players until I get lucky enough to hit a weak Titan just at the right time... seriously may go back to COD before that...

The updates over internet range 500 MB to 1 Gig+, so comments below make sense on variable install times.
