    Any word on a fix for the wireless disconnect issue on Series X?


    Pretty shocked honestly, paid all that money and multiplayer is a waste of time because the machine will just randomly drop my connection for a few seconds. Based on posts I’ve read and friends I’ve spoken to, a lot of people seem to be having this issue and it’s unacceptable this many months after the consoles launch.. I’ve pretty much tried every possible fix at this point besides getting a wired connection and nothing has worked. I’ve lost all hope and it’s said because I’m super happy with the machine outside of this problem. Just want them to acknowledge the issue.

    Xbox Wireless Headset keeps disconnecting and reconnecting with Xbox Series X in 120hz video mode

    Just got an update for series x and xbox wireless headset (0.0.9.22) i'm not an insider. And it seems that disconnecting problem was finally fixed! i've experienced sound cut outs and disconnections too often and the worst case was fh 4. I've been playing for an hour after update and haven't experienced any issues. Before the update i can't even play 10 minutes without issues. Also it seems they reduced bass in headset so i can use standart game preset.

    I'm also having this issue. Latest firmware hasn't fixed it, and about once every 10-15 minutes I get a hard dropout. I play on PC using the official Series X Wireless adaptor as well. Hopefully a fix can come soon, as I got a Design Lab controller in my color scheme special, and having it continually disconnect is making it a complete waste.

    Im having the exact same issue with my Series X as DMcC1 though im using the modem/router provided by Spectrum Cable in western NY. Ethernet cable works fine on xbox one and any other device I connect it to, but when I connect it to the series X it will
    connect for about 2 seconds and then disconnect and tell me i dont have an ethernet cable plugged in. It then alternates between connecting for about 2 seconds and then disconnecting for a while and then repeats the process. Wireless connection seems fine.
    I guess im glad to know im not the only one.

    Random 10 second controller disconnects Series X

    A patch to fix controllers disconnecting on the Series X was released some months back. As for the current Alpha build, unfortunately I don't know when that will be released or if it will address the issue at all.
