Any way to stream games that aren't in game pass?

Hi,

Unfortunately Game Pass does not allow you to stream purchased games. Game Pass requires a subscription to Game Pass ultimate to play any games available on the service.

In short, in order to stream a game you need:

• An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription
  
• The game you want to play to be available on the service.
  

^^ No, obviously. You need Gold to play online, and the online pass is a roundabout way for EA to "persuade" you to purchase the game brand new, or you're forking over $10. The 2 items aren't intertwined in any way.

If you only stream your games, then you should get Game Pass Ultimate, that way you can continue playing Assassins Creed Odyssey.

I've tried both of these things and still aren't able to stream the game. Other people are streaming it but I can't.

Netflix streaming at 1080p is not a fair example though because video can be buffered, streaming an interactive game over Shareplay is a different beast all together and i'm personally surprised that people aren't having serious latency issues.

aren't Twitch streams at 720p?
