Any way to get saved data back or resync cloud data?

Started up a game to continue playing and it said it was syncing. I let it do its thing but it said there was an error, then kicked me off saying I needed to be online to play the game which I was. Started up the gane again after restarting my xbox. My save is just gone. Tried unistalking and reinstalling, deleting local save, and a bunch of troubleshooting. Nothing is working. My save is just gone. Any help would be great. I'm on the series X and the game is Perish.

    :)

Any way to get saved data back or resync cloud data?

    Hello Markenstine,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I know you're experiencing problems with lost archives and failed cloud synchronization, and I completely understand how you feel. First of all, for the problem you described, here are some ways to help you get back your lost archive or resynchronize your cloud data.

    1. Check Xbox Live Cloud Archive Synchronization Status
If you're experiencing an error that says you need to be online to play or have lost your cloud archive, first make sure your Xbox Series X is properly connected to the Xbox Live service. Sometimes Xbox's Cloud Archive service is temporarily down, preventing data from being synchronized.
    Solution:
Make sure your Xbox Series X is connected to the Internet.
Check if the Xbox Live service status is normal: Xbox Live Service Status page.
If Xbox Live is working properly, try entering the game again and wait for the cloud archive to synchronize.

    2. Verify that the Xbox archive exists in the cloud
Sometimes there are conflicts between local and cloud archives. Especially if you choose to delete a local archive, it may cause the cloud archive to go out of sync.
    Solution:
Press the Xbox button on your Xbox console to open the menu.
Go to Settings > System > Storage.
Check the game's storage options to make sure you have a cloud archive.
If you have a cloud archive, try selecting Restore from Cloud Archive or Restore to Last Active Archive. 3.

    3. Check if the local archive is missing
After reinstalling the game or deleting a local archive, the game may try to load the archive from the cloud. If the cloud archive fails, your game archive may be lost.
    Solution:
In Xbox Settings, go to Storage Options and check if you have a local archive (Perish's local archive may be saved on your local hard drive).
You can try restoring your local archive to see if you can get your data back. 4.

    4. Log out and back in to your Xbox account
Sometimes account synchronization issues can cause cloud archives to not load correctly. Signing out and back in to your Xbox account may resolve the issue.
    Solution:
Press the Xbox button and go to Settings > Account.
Select Sign Out and then Sign Back In.
Restart Xbox and relaunch the game to see if you are able to resynchronize the cloud archive.

You can also contact the support staff of the corresponding game to find out why.

    Best regards

Get back progress of Fallout 4

    hi there.

Unfortunately, as Smwutches mentioned if a profile or saved data is deleted from the cloud there is no way to reacquire that data or the account.

We do hope that helps clarify and hope that the data was not deleted from the cloud so when you sign in online it will resync.

    Vanished...but how?

Personally I've not experienced any vanishing saves. It might not hurt to try resyncing your save data.

You would do this by deleting your local save data for the game within the specific games 'manage game' section. After you opt to clear the local save data. Launch your game and the save data will resync from the cloud.

Hopefully, the saves your missing will show up again.

    Data issues with Apex Legends

Your save data should be stored in the cloud, if you didn't delete the cloud data too. If you did, then there is no way to get the data back.
