Any way to bypass a double NAT issue?

I've had double NAT for a while, it was mainly moderate but as of recent, it has become strict, I can't play peer to peer games with friends anymore and it's really annoying me, I tried port forwarding, I tried DNS host.
I just wish that the xbox wasn't so picky about security like this.
Any way of bypassing it? or perhaps something I haven't tried yet.
Wanted to connect my xbox to my PC and run it through a VPN but don't have the ability to do hotspot.

Sorry yeah, tried DMZ host that didn't work, also my router doesn't have bridge mode unless it's labelled as something else and didn't know can get a VPN on xbox? mind letting me know I could do that?

Hello, unfortunately, it's not possible to have a VPN on XBOX, some router do not have DMZ and Bridge, you'll need to find the manual of your router and check if this option is available.

There are a few ways you can try to bypass the double NAT issue:

Enable bridge mode: If your router supports it, you can enable bridge mode which will turn off the router function of your modem/router combo device, effectively bypassing one layer of NAT.

Use a DMZ: You can set up a DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) on your router, which will forward all incoming traffic to a specific device, effectively placing it outside the NAT firewall.

Use a VPN: If you have a VPN service, you can connect your Xbox to it, effectively bypassing both layers of NAT. This can be done by setting up a VPN connection on your router or by using a VPN client on your Xbox itself.

Get a public IP address: You can contact your ISP and request a public IP address, which will bypass the NAT firewall altogether. However, this may come at an additional cost.

Note that some of these solutions may require additional configuration and may not be available on all routers or ISP plans. It's recommended to consult with your router manufacturer or ISP for assistance if needed.

bypass the Asus and plug into the sky....If the sky is not in bridge , then it is also still a router and you will get double nat ....

[/quote]You could do that, or turn the volume down to zero, or disable the TVs speakers. Personally I just have mine turned down to zero with my Xbox setup. In another setup I have the TV speakers disabled altogether.
