Any way for the Offline Permissions enablement yearly limit to be reset?

I have a desktop PC and handheld gaming PC and in trying to work out how to enable offline permissions in Xbox App/Microsoft Store I hit the limit of 3 devices changes within a year. Unfortunately, at that point the PC with offline permissions enabled is the desktop, rather than the handheld, which is my preference (so i can play games on the go). I am only able to switch devices once again on May 2024, which is a long time to wait.

There's no issue with the hardware/software/apps, the switching worked fine before, my only hope is that a MS employee can access backend setting of my account to have the limit reset. The limit is the only issue.

I have been redirected here from the Windows Technical support team chat, who was referred to me by the Xbox support team chat.

Logging out/in, restarting etc. have been tried but no help.

I am afraid that you will have to wait for another year for you to have another 3 times designation of offline device for your account.

You can start the game offline but you need an account first and enable offline permissions in the Microsoft Store app on your Windows.

Open the app, go to Microsoft Store settings and enable offline permissions.

The Offline permissions setting was already enabled, i disabled & re-enabled it & am still getting the same error.

Check for the "offline permissions" setting in the general tab of the xbox app settings and enable it. Afterwards check if it helps

Your PC will be automatically added to the account when you log your account into the Microsoft Store app and when you enable offline permissions in the Microsoft Store app, you can enable offline permissions in the app settings.

The option to add devices on the devices page only applies to Microsoft products.
