Any suggestions to help with lag

I just am having problems with my lag when I try to play online opp. It’s horrible I can’t even finish a game it lags so bad, Ihave Comcast I pay a lot of money for it and it sucks I can’t play onlinee to see if I even belong playing online any help would
be cool thank you in advance....It even lags when I play vs. my grandson who is in the other room same house and it’s still difficult..

Best tv/no lag for 360

Anyone have any suggestions for an hd TV that's 1080p and has no lag. I don't need a smart tv I just want something that's clear and great for gaming with no lag. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Open NAT but difficult to find games and laggy connection

Ok so I tried changing the DNS servers back to AUTO which did not help with lag or match making. I only have a .56 mbps upload speed is this an issue? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Do you use Wi-Fi? If so, could you possible use a wired connection instead? I would definitely test it out, even if you have to move the console temporarily, because if a wired connection makes the lag go away (or improves the situation considerably) then
at least you know that using Wi-Fi is the cause.

Another option, if you're using Wi-Fi and can't easily use a wired connection, is to use homeplugs. These use the electric cables in your walls to carry the signal. You plug one homeplug into a spare power socket near the router, then hook the router to
the homeplug with a cable, then you plug the other homeplug into a spare power socket near the console and connect it to the console with a cable. That gives you what is essentially a wired connection but without having to run a cable directly from the router
to the Xbox.

But yeah, using Wi-Fi is often the cause of added lag. Online gaming doesn't require much bandwidth, but Wi-Fi can add latency or cause you to experience spikes of latency, which can then add general lag to your game or cause spikes of it.

I assume you are using wireless. Issues can occur due to the distance/location of your router to xbox. if you can pick up a cheap wireless booster and place it in the room, where your xbox is, then you should get improved signal strength. Another issue (which
I have suffered with) is with your ISP, I had Sky (UK based satalite TV) and there service was always dropping out. I switched provider, using the same line into my property and have never had any lag spikes or service drops since. Yet another cause can be
the game servers you connect to, which we have no control of. I would try the booster option first.

ok i looked at it and it was as high as it could go. still lagging. any other suggestions

I would suggest UPnP as this may help you and maybe your lag will not occur

I don't understand how that is modification, it's just using my old (detachable) drive from another xbox? Neither have been opened up or changed from standard
