    Any one else having a problem with the newest update for Series X?


    My Xbox series X is choking on the new update after the first of three steps (error code 0x80190194 0x00000000 0x00000206), it also won't make it past one of three on my old Xbox one (error code 0x80190194 0x00000000 0x90050005). I guess I will try the offline update. Any other suggestions? I did a system reset, saving games and settings on the Series X. Unplugged any extraneous, or unnecessary hardware. Only had the ethernet cable, power supply, and the HDMI cable to the TV. No dice...

    Hi there!

    I assume that you're still able to access the console's dashboard depsite the update error?

    My suggestion here aside from performing an offline system update is to try a different network connection. You could try to connect with your mobile data hotspot if it would work.

    I pre-purchased Doom Dark Ages. The games section of my x-box one shows the purchase, but the install button reads "incompatible" How can I install the game?

    There's not a One X series. There is a One X and a Series X. A Series X (and Series S) are the newest consoles and what new games will be released for. Anything labelled as a One is old gen and studies are not releasing many games for those anymore.

    The Xbox One S is a variant of the Xbox One console. Xbox Series X/S is the newer generation of consoles. Xbox Series X/S enhanced games are only for the newest consoles not the Xbox One S. You would need to purchase the Xbox One version of the games not the X/S version of them.
