Any news regarding another Xbox Series X|S Console Purchase Pilot?

Did you sign up for the Console Purchase Pilot through the Xbox Insider Hub like the article that you linked says to?

"If you’re interested in potentially buying an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, you’ll need to hop into the Xbox Insider Hub and sign up for the Console Purchase Pilot through there. Good news if you signed up last time and weren’t selected: Microsoft says that you’ve already opted into this round and won’t need to do anything for the chance to be selected again."

It looks like you've purchased the Series S|X edition, which is for new generation consoles (Series S and Series X) and wouldn't be compatible with your Xbox One S.

If you are an Xbox Insider and live in US, I believe Microsoft is going to introduce a Console Purchase Pilot that will allow you to reserve a Series X/S.

Optimized games for Xbox Series X|S don't require separate purchases; one purchase is sufficient for both console models. If you bought a game optimized for Xbox Series and played it on an Xbox Series S, then later purchased an Xbox Series X, the games will automatically run with any enhancements specific to that console model. No need to worry.
