    Any idea on how to fix missing .dll file problems?


    Whenever I try to run a program from file explorer, I get a whole bunch of missing .dll file errors, like "msvcp120.dll" and "msvcr120.dll." I've tried heaps of solutions from heaps of forums, and none of them work. Reinstalling or repairing the Visual C++ Package doesn't help either, I just want to play Geometry Dash!

    Please Help!

    Any idea on how to fix missing .dll file problems?

    I've tried reinstalling the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages, the x64 and x86 ones, and that hasn't worked. I tried installing DirectX, but it said I already have DirectX installed on my computer. It isn't just Geometry Dash, it's also whenever I open my computer from being shut down, and any game in general.

    I fear I may need to factory reset...

    Additional information is needed, please tell me:

    Where did you downloaded the game?
    From steam, or which store?
    Is this happening only with geometry dash or with every game?
    Are you using windows 10 or 11?
    And what did you tried so far to fix this
    In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    Skyrim (and some other games) on xbox gamepass won't start

    Formatting your PC may not be necessary. Resetting would be a great idea and it does not delete any file, game or app you have. It just reinstalls the operational system files. Since we already reinstalled the gaming services and the issue was not fixed, maybe this is being cause by a .DLL (library) corrupted file or a system file used by some games.

    Do you receive a message showing that the cloud option is unavailable right now?
