    any idea how to get rid of the classic gamertag?


    i have changed my gamertag

    the old one still in use and it shows on both my profile and in game's

    it's also have set automatically as a classic gamertag

    the new one only shows on profile

    it been like a month since i changed my gamertag and the only way to get rid of it is paying another 10$?!!

    I have two Xbox gamertags

    At some point when you did change it, you changed your current gamertag but not the classic gamertag so it's kept the Rrey99 as your classic. There really isn't a way to get rid of it, you would just have to change it if the system shows the option when you change your tag.

    Clearly you didn’t read what I typed. I have the Gamertag as my classic tag because I wasn’t able to put it as my top Gamertag without it giving me #’s, but when I put it as my classic Gamertag it worked perfectly fine. Then when I go to fix it and get rid of the #’s it lets me but doesn’t go though and gives me an error message.
