Install the DLC and you should get a visit from a Courier who lets you know that the Jarl in Falkreath wants to see you about a tract of land that's for sale.



If you have "helped" enough people in the hold then they will sell you the land.



If you haven't you may be required to help more of them.



It's probably also level specific. I started a new character recently and she's not head a peep about it yet.

Thanks for that Az. I installed it on my game but I've yet to get any visits from anyone. My character is currently halfway to level 6. Thought I might have to do something in the main quest first which I can't be bothered to start (think it's glitched
on me too, the Stormcloak bird you meet in Riverwood won't talk to me)

I've been doing the quests in the far Western city - begins with 'M'. Just broken the Foresworn in the city and done the Daedric quest - got some cool mace which I won't use since I'm an Archer-class.

Really started to get into the game...finally. Playing as a class that focuses on powers they're built for helps. When I was playing as a Khaiit "Warrior Mage", I was putting skill points in everything which kind of ruined the fun since Khajiits are not really
designed to be warriors or mages. They're thieves and stuff.
