    Xbox series s has darkened screen, has heavy color distortion, and tinted red. I've tried hard restarting the console changing the HDMI cord and port and tried changing both the TV and console display settings. Any idea what's going on?

    The serial number can be tracked, especially if they try to sell or pawn the Xbox. All legitimate shops check databases of stolen item descriptions and serial numbers. Make sure you have it handy.
