There is problems with the servers at the moment.

A few people are having freezing issues, on main screen, when I joined a online game after 5 mins,

it found one but while loading map it kicked me back to main menu.

They are working on these problem, so hopefully in a few days it should be sorted.

You can create an account via the Mobile, but you will still need to download that profile on the console and run the initial steps when online.

The thing you can try is setup a Wifi hotspot on your mobile (if supported on the device), so your console can connect to that and thus connect to the Internet and do the initial steps.

Keep in mind that if the console requires an update then it will use a couple of hundred MB (or more)

My PC flat out refuses to even find my XB1 despite being on the same network and only 10 feet away from it. Hopefully future updates will make the whole streaming experience a lot better.

The whole not seeing NAS drives is a pain in the hoop, its a Windows 8 issue, something during the beta they said they would address, but havent......

The 'Play To' thing that Floppy linked is the best it does at the moment.

Well you can stream but it's not really like you can do on the 360.

You have to go to your PC to start the file playing on your One and at the moment it can't see NAS drives, meaning that at the moment your PC would need to be on as well in order to access that content.

Hardly the all in one media device they are marketing it as.
