Any custom gamer picture won't upload on our Xbox profiles (Past 48 hours verification time).

Heya,

Me and my partner are trying to use custom gamer pictures, however no matter what gamer picture we use they won't work. The process will say it's uploaded and will be verified, however it won't update.

What makes this even stranger is that whenever my partner logs onto their Xbox, the notification that tells me they are online shows their gamer picture as the custom picture we wanted. However, upon looking at each other's profiles or other notifications
(like achievements or joining a party etc) will show our old non-custom gamer pictures.

I've spoken to Xbox Live chat support and this is what we have tried to do to remedy the situation:

1: Wait 24-48 hours for the verification team = This has unfortunately not worked as it's now theoretically 96+ hours since the custom picture was uploaded.

2: Try changing the gamerpic via PC Xbox app = We have tried and it hasn't made a differance.

3: Remove and re-add my profile to my Xbox One X = This caused my Xbox One X to be unable to restart properly, so I had to do a factory reset. In either case, it did not fix the gamer profile being able to be changed.

4: Try changing the gamerpic via the mobile Xbox Live app = Didn't work.

The gamer pics do no break any violations (mine is artwork from The Evil Within 2 and my partner's is Patrick Stewart from Star Trek eating a cake! ) and are the correct dimensions. We even previously tested by uploading a picture that was literally just
the words "This is a Test" with a white background done in Microsoft Paint and it still didn't upload.

Hope someone on the Evaluation team reads this and can help. Xbox Live support has pointed us to here to hopefully get your attention and let us know if indeed the pictures can be uploaded or not (If not, no worries).

Custom profile picture verification

I Tried to change my profile picture to a custom one that i made. But when i select that specific picture it doesn't go through,

But gives me a message stating "Don't worry we still have your picture, You will see it again once we have verified that it is OK."

Now i understand that they would not allow profile pictures of something provocative/offensive or anything like that.

But i can assure that the profile picture isn't offensive in any way, Shape or form. I would just like to use it.

Is it really being verified?

 

UPDATE: I could see the custom gamer pic on my profile on this page now in the top right (see attached photo). However, aupon refreshing the page here it's reverted back to the default non-custom gamer pic (the penguin holding a bee).

 

UPDATE 2: When I'm signed out ans visit this post, I can see both gamerpics as the custom gamerpic. However, when I sign back in, it defaults to the non-custom one.
