    Any chance of properly integrated cross platform communication?


    As crossplay functionality is becoming more and more common between the major consoles and PC, the need is growing for a proper cross-platform voice chat utility. Discord is uniquely positioned to be able to provide that functionality, being the preferred chat tool for existing gaming communities already.

    Hi there!

    Unfortunately, there is no way to uninstall the app as it is an integral part of the Windows 10 OS.

    With the introduction of play anywhere games and the cross platform integration this is a necessary feature.

    Then they should create a patch in order that we are still able to communicate. What would be even better would be cross the lines communication. Meaning be able to play worth and talk with other platforms; for instance Playstation to Xbox. That would open
    up a whole new world of gaming options and would create a greater online multi-player experience.

    The systems behind voice chat were completely redone for the Xbox One, and unfortunately that means that the two aren't compatible.

    This post is very old, and it's likely the OP has already found their answer. If you have a certain issue you would like the community to help you with, I would suggest creating a new thread of your own.

    PS. This is already in the works as Phil Spencer invited platforms to connect to Xbox a couple weeks ago. That said, I wouldn't expect to see Playstation to Xbox for some time with all the items that need to happen for this to work.
