    Annoying Bug With XBL Gold


    So my Gamepass Ultimate ran out about a month ago but I've been using my brother's account's ultimate until it expired last night, so I last night tried to get it on sale for one dollar, the problem is my account apparently still has gold but it won't
    let me play online because i don't actually have gold. This makes it so i can't buy ultimate for a dollar since it wants to upgrade my current non existent subscription, which is annoying for obvious reasons, but I don't want to buy it for fifteen dollars
    since I don't know if it is going to upgrade my subscription but not give me any time on it seeing as I am not subscribed to gold, therefore it is upgrading nothing. Is there a way to fix this without speaking to a representative? When I try to get a chat
    with one I don't get one at all, and I can't call Microsoft since they aren't taking calls currently.

    L'offre d'obtention du Xbox Game Pass Ultimate est disponible ce prix uniquement pour les nouveaux abonnés.

    En cas de renouvellement, l'offre passera en effet au tarif normal. Sachez cependant que si un abonnement est déj en cours, la date de validité de ce dernier sera automatiquement prolongée.

    Si le problème persiste, je vous invite contacter le service client par mail afin de résoudre ensemble votre problème.

    This is an intentional feature. Most product codes are region locked, for example if i were to buy a gift card in Germany and gift it to my friend in the UK it wouldn't work on his console due to said region lock.

    I didn't renew my XBL gold account because they removed Halo 2 and other older Xbox games from XBL. So I'm not sure what you are talking about exactly. It does sound annoying though.
