    Android Xbox app does not give any notifications whatsoever


    Galaxy Note 8, using Xbox app from the Android store. I have all notifications selected in the settings screen of the app but I never get any notifications. (yes, I have friends who party invite me and message me lol)

    when someone sends me a message or party invite, I never get a notification on my phone. I've deleted and reinstalled the app on multiple occasions and even logged out and back into my XBL account. Nothing has fixed it.

    Is this a known issue or is there a way to fix it? There's no reason a top of the line phone should have any issue with running the app itself or providing notifications.

    Just a thought, has notifications for the app been disabled through the app manager on your mobile? i have known other apps have the permission changed unknowingly

    Also make sure the notifications are turned on from the phone it self as well.

    Note 8

    Setting > Notifications > Xbox and Press and Hold

    check all the boxes

    Hey,

    I had the same issue but if you contact the app support team they can help fix it or report the bug. They are good about sending out hot fix and patches within the week. You are not the only person that has this issue. Best to send them an e-mail from the
    one provide by the moderator.
