    Analogue/Thumbstick cannot rotate completely to one side


    My Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller has a dodgy right analogue stick that won’t rotate 360° smoothly, when it gets to a part on the left it almost has a barrier stopping it from rotating completely round the left side.

    I am unable to move the joystick all the way to the left side

    Nothings is under the analogue, the controller is also unfortunately past its warranty.

    I am sorry to hear that, stil you can request service of the controller for a fee.

    If your controller is out of warranty or you have warranty on it, the process is the same:

    First, sign in at https://support.microsoft.com/devices and then select Register new device. (if the controller already appears ignore this)

    After you’ve registered your devices, follow these steps:
    In the Overview section of the Device repair page, select Repair my device.
    Follow the onscreen steps to complete your service order request.

    After Device repair receives your submission, they’ll send you a service order number and an order confirmation email that has shipping or drop-off instructions.

    To clarify: The analogue sticks on the controller were defective. The detachable thumbsticks on the controller were fine.
